India, Australia Sign Moc for Student Welfare

Shri Ashok Thakur, Secretary (HE) and Mr. Peter Verghese, Australian High Commissioner to India, signing the MoC in the presence of Shri Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India and Ms. Julia Gillard, Prime Minister of Australia.
During the recent visit of Ms. Julia Gillard, Prime Minister of Australia, to India, she met Sh. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India. The two leaders discussed the issue of student mobility and welfare between the two countries. In this regard, the two nations signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to ensure that the mobility and welfare of the students is enhanced in both countries.
